This scholarship program will be available for eligible students beginning in April 2025.

The Next Career Scholarship awards one chosen student per program intake a $1,000 scholarship to be applied to their tuition. All you have to do is tell us your story – what are you hoping to change about your life with your new chosen career track through OICC?

As an OICC student, there’s no limit on the number of scholarships you can qualify for, but the total scholarship amount cannot exceed the total amount of your owed program tuition. View all of our available scholarships here.
Scholarship Details
How it Works
2 weeks before the start of your program, all eligible students will have the opportunity to submit a maximum 500-word essay explaining what they hope to change about their life with their new chosen career track through OICC | Oxford International Career Colleges. Eligible students will be notified via email about the scholarship opening and be invited to submit their essay.
OICC | Oxford International Career Colleges will identify the winner 1 week before the start of the program. The Next Career Scholarship recipient will receive $1,000 off their program tuition.
One Next Career Scholarship recipient will be chosen per program intake.
Eligibility Criteria
This program is available for domestic students (Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and those of refugee status) at OICC Toronto and Halifax campuses enrolled in one of the following programs:
OICC Toronto campus
- Personal Support Worker (in person or distance education)
- Early Childhood Assistant (hybrid)
- Home Support Worker (hybrid)
OICC Halifax campus
- Continuing Care Assistant (in person)
- Early Childhood Education (in person or hybrid)
In order to be eligible for the Next Career Scholarship, you will also need to be enrolling as a student at OICC for the purpose of making a career change.
Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) program students at OICC Halifax campus taking part in the free tuition program through the Government of Nova Scotia are not eligible to participate in this scholarship.
Terms and Conditions
As an OICC | Oxford International Career Colleges student, there is no limit on the number of scholarships you can qualify for, but the total scholarship amount cannot exceed the total amount of your owed program tuition. Scholarships are not eligible for cash back and do not represent cash value. Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) program students at OICC Halifax campus taking part in the free tuition program through the Government of Nova Scotia are not eligible to participate in this scholarship.
How to Apply
Eligible students will be notified via email that the scholarship is opening and will be invited to submit a 500-word essay. Further instructions on how to submit your essay will be included in the email.
