This scholarship program will be available for eligible students beginning in April 2025.

Our Newcomer to Canada scholarship automatically grants all newcomers a $1,500 scholarship to be taken off their OICC program tuition fee. In addition to this scholarship, students also get access to:

Scholarship Details
How it Works
All eligible newcomers to Canada will automatically receive a $1,500 scholarship applied to their program tuition.
Eligibility Criteria
This scholarship is available to all protected persons or those displaced by war currently residing in Canada or have been granted permanent residency within the last 2 years. Students must provide proof of eligibility by presenting their official Canadian ID with date of validity.
This scholarship is available for students at OICC Toronto and Halifax campuses enrolled in one of the following programs:
OICC Toronto campus:
- Personal Support Worker (in person or distance education)
- Early Childhood Assistant (hybrid)
- Home Support Worker (hybrid)
OICC Halifax campus:
- Continuing Care Assistant (in person)
- Early Childhood Education (in person)
Terms and Conditions
As an OICC | Oxford International Career Colleges student, there is no limit on the number of scholarships you can qualify for, but the total scholarship amount cannot exceed the total amount of your owed program tuition. Scholarships are not eligible for cash back and do not represent cash value.
How to Apply
You don’t need to do a thing! Eligible students will automatically receive a $1,500 scholarship toward their program tuition fees once they have provided proof of status.
