Community Impact Scholarship
Give back to your local community and get rewarded for it
This scholarship program will be available for eligible students beginning in April 2025.
At OICC | Oxford International Career Colleges, we believe fostering close connections with communities and giving back – and we want to reward students for the positive impact they have on their local communities!
The Community Impact Scholarship awards one chosen student per program intake a $1,000 scholarship to be applied to their program tuition. All you have to do is tell us your story – how do you positive impact and give back to your local community, and how will you continue to do so once you graduate from your OICC program?

As an OICC student, there’s no limit on the number of scholarships you can qualify for, but the total scholarship amount cannot exceed the total amount of your owed program tuition. View all of our available scholarships here.

How it Works

All you have to do is tell us your story – how do you positive impact and give back to your local community, and how will you continue to do so once you graduate from your OICC program?
One Community Impact Scholarship recipient will be chosen per program intake.
Eligibility Criteria
This program is available for domestic students (Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and those of refugee status) at OICC Toronto and Halifax campuses enrolled in one of the following programs:
OICC Toronto campus
- Personal Support Worker (in person or distance education)
- Early Childhood Assistant (hybrid)
- Home Support Worker (hybrid)
OICC Halifax campus
- Continuing Care Assistant (in person)
- Early Childhood Education (in person)
In order to be eligible for the Community Impact Scholarship, you will also need to be currently giving back to your community once you enroll as an OICC student.
Terms and Conditions
As an OICC | Oxford International Career Colleges student, there is no limit on the number of scholarships you can qualify for, but the total scholarship amount cannot exceed the total amount of your owed program tuition. Scholarships are not eligible for cash back and do not represent cash value.
How to Apply
Eligible students will be notified via email that the scholarship is opening and will be invited to submit a 500-word essay. Further instructions on how to submit your essay will be included in the email.
